Wholesale freight on Shippit

After delivering a billion parcels to consumers over the last decade, Shippit is now bringing the same control and performance to wholesale freight. 

Today, many wholesale operations run their freight in silos; switching between disparate carriers, portals, and platforms. Visibility is limited, human involvement (and therefore errors) is high, and costs are hard to control. 

Salty Captain, the leading producer of car cleaning products, faced many of these challenges. So it streamlined its DTC and wholesale freight operations with Shippit’s shipping platform; saving 20 hours a week and shipping a million units a year to 800 stores and its consumer customers.

• Same order, better delivery: When circumstances change, we’ve made it easy to upgrade standard orders to on-demand (when price allows) or convert click and collect orders to delivery when your customers are too busy to drop by the store.
• Estimated delivery dates: Our AI-precise estimated delivery dates now carry a confidence score on every prediction, with the full AU public holiday calendar built in, so you can promise a date customers actually trust. With 38% of shoppers more likely to complete a purchase if there’s an accurate delivery estimate, don’t let vague delivery cost you the sale. 
• Replace intuition with data: Today, two in three retailers rarely or never use their delivery data to optimise their operations. With 250+ data points, Shippit Insights allows businesses to monitor carrier performance, spot service gaps, and model the true cost of free or faster shipping - whether it’s the Black Friday rush or any other day. 

Fleet management software that delivers to new builds the maps can't find
