In 2023, Shippit experienced an extraordinary surge in order volume, surpassing the previous year by an impressive 36%. The total bookings for the year reached a remarkable 48 million, with November standing out as the pinnacle month, boasting 7 million orders. This surge can be attributed to the festive season lead-up, the excitement and the shopping extravaganza of Black Friday.

Even in February, typically a slower month, we processed a staggering 2.5 million orders, demonstrating sustained momentum throughout the year. This dip in activity in the post holiday season could be attributed to the mob mentality of sustaining New Year’s resolutions, emphasising budget-conscious decisions and a mindful approach to spending after the holiday festivities.
